XMAS 2022

The xmas group usually has a reading out loud component. Although in 2020, the last time we were able to gather for xmas, we allowed Don to play games master. He led us in a story writing game that we really enjoyed. So we did it again in 2022.

The game is a literary version of what the Surrealist artists used to call the Exquisite Corpse. There were nine stories. Each was a different genre. Don gives the story a name, and provides the first sentence, and a few words of the next sentence. I then provided a sentence or two then each player in turn was required to write another sentence or paragraph for the story but they could not see what had been written before. They could only see the title, and the last few words of what the previous player had written. We all had a lot of fun. The results are below.
